Robert B. “Bob” Klotz, 47, of Monroeville went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026, following a battle with diabetes.
He was born on July 8, 1978, in Sandusky and has lived in Monroeville his entire life. Bob was a 1996 graduate of Monroeville High School, where he played football and baseball, and was a member of the Debate Team and Chess Club. Bob worked for Tower Automotive/Autokiniton, in Bellevue for twenty-eight years.
His passion was role playing games, and he created the game, Super Punch Fighter. Bob valued his family more than anything else in the world.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Ruby Klotz; his brother, Russell "Russ" (Leigh) Klotz; paternal grandmother, Nancy Klotz; aunts, Jennifer Harvey and Suzanne Klotz Luken; uncles, Kim Mitchell and Bill Klotz; various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glen and Mary Mitchell; paternal grandfather, Donald Klotz; and uncle, Glen G. Mitchell.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Pastor Allen Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Harvest Baptist Temple, 1022 S. Main St., Clyde, Ohio 43410.
